Whole seeds and pantry staples

These are foods first: raw chia seeds, whole flax seed, whole black seeds (kalonji), garden cress seeds (halim), quinoa, gond katira (tragacanth gum) and dried kokum. Clean-label, Halal certified, and packed in resealable pouches for everyday cooking.

What each one brings

Chia and flax add plant fiber and omega-3 ALA to oats, smoothies and baking. Whole kalonji is the same Nigella sativa seed behind black seed oil, used in breads, pickles and dals. Garden cress (halim/aliv) is one of the richest plant sources of iron and a postpartum kitchen tradition. Quinoa is a gluten-free complete plant protein. Gond katira swells into a cooling gel for falooda and summer drinks. Kokum is the tangy souring fruit of coastal Indian cooking.

How to use them

Soak chia, garden cress and gond katira before use; they gel. Grind flax for the best absorption of its oil, or use it whole for texture. Toast kalonji briefly to release its aroma. Rinse quinoa and cook it like rice. Store all seeds sealed, cool and dry.

Seeds or softgels?

Seeds are the whole-food way to add fiber and omega-3 to meals; our cold-pressed oil softgels deliver the oil side in a taste-free capsule. Many routines use both.

Frequently asked questions

How do I soak garden cress or gond katira?

Garden cress gels in 15-30 minutes in water or milk. Gond katira needs 6-8 hours in at least a cup of cool water per half teaspoon.

Are the whole seeds Halal certified?
